Shorty brake lever - Anyone use it?

So, perhaps I'm being dumb but.. Regardless of sled brand I have always moved the brake cylinder inwards on the bars so that the stock lever is where I want it for one or two fingers use. Why get a shorter lever? That will only make the already weak BRP brake weaker!?!?

I always move the throttle lever inwards too so I can use the tip of it rather than the base making it easier to pull.

A tip if someone else is thinking about this is when the controls have been moved inwards, tape the grip heater leads to the bars just inside the grips. Otherwise the leads can be damaged in the area between grip and throttle/brake bases.
