07 800r has no lights brake light, dash

My sled has a new motor and on a test run i discovered the sled has no headlight, brake light tail, dash light? I removed the factory electric start and starter ring. The sled also seemed like the clutching was on or off. not much there and half throttle but pulled hard at WOT.. Any help. I also installed a short harness that allowed the sled to run without the battery.

my $$ is on the relay....xip-tied above/behind the secondary clutch. Common problem and accounts for all your symptoms.

also check the fuses above the secondary, one of them is for your gauges and lights

Had exact same problem with my 05 about three months ago. Accessory relay just like everyone else is saying

Starter ring

Be carefull, If I remember correctly the starter ring is part of the clutch balance. My 07 XRS has one on and it never was made with a starter. Im running a BB 880 in :beer;it and had to leave the ring in place.
