Finished up the install tonight on the rear skid, like I thought all simple stuff. Couple things that did help though I might throw out there for guys doing there own. Used a 1/4" impact driver and a small step drill bit to start the hole in the tunnel from the inside. A regular drill and 3/8 bit was too long to get it done from the inside without completely dropping the rear skid out (which I didn't want to do) Once you have a pilot hole in the tunnel I drilled it from the outside with a 3/8 bit. Also taking the rear idler wheels off helped a lot in getting the front holes in the skid lined back up. Limiter strap is about a hole longer than factory. All in all especially if you had help this shouldn't take more than 2 hours to install. I did it by myself, maybe took me 3 hours overall.

Completely changes how the sled sits, no longer looks like a low rider next to my AXYS. Now winter needs to hurry up a come back around! lol.

From the floor to the rear suspension mount, My Alpha is almost 1in lower than my 14 with a 3in claw. Why did cat lower the Alpha?
I guess ill have to go out and measure the 18mtn cat and see how it compares to both.....

look how it shortens up the track footprint on that pic above. Im gonna guess it won't be a popular mod for hillclimb guys. looks sweet tho!

Track footprint is a bit hard to when the lift is under it on the first picture. But i think it is muck better i the deep snow. Both in handling and traction. And the skinz seat is great, exept the poor quality on the seat cover. And the little bag isn't waterproof at all.. So everything you put in it i soaking wet...

Look at the skis. The sled isn't centered between the two pics. It's not really shortening up.

I am curious to hear how the Elevate kit will work in a 2020 standard model Alpha 1 with the standard coil over shocks.
Same id imagine? I think ill be snowchecking the base model and doing the elevate and if funds allow aftermarket shocks, or at least a revalve.

Wondering what you ended up for clearance from the belly pan (up front by the a-arms) to the floor? Sled looks great.
