are they holding up?
hows the intake?
are the panels easy to open and close? cant find any videos of them in action

looks like just plastics for an 18 will be about the same price, its about time i update the plastics on my 13 and cant decide which route to go.

The Skinz open and close just fine. Both take some work to install. I think it will come down to the look that you like. We have some intake differences that we do on the Skinz install for better performance, but all in all it works just fine.

The intake on the helium leaves a lot to be desired. Whether its bogging or just reduced performance. Unfortunately the early adopters of the kit were saddled with the issues. IMO the 18 panels are a better overall unit.

Any idea the width difference between what BDX is offering vs what the actual 18's are?

Somebody in another thread said they think its the 2017 Turbo/RS editions' plastic which is wider than the new 18 plastic. Not sure but that's what I've read here.
