So it appears from Robs Kincaids Instagram q&a last night that all the mountain sled with have the thicker gauge tunnels...originally it was assumed that it’s only the hardcore. Anyone confirm this?

So basically colours, shocks and strengthened running boards are the main differences? Hard to tell from pictures where the running boards are strengthened.

They went back to the rear tunnel section used in 17/16, yes on all the mountain sleds. kicking myself not ordering a 16 back tunnel half when I replaced mine.

I did not look that close on the HC rail edge. Someone else with have to chime in in what they did there.

Ok thanks for that video. Edge of the board has the reinforcement
So I suspect this would be a easy upgrade to any ascender tunnel as it’s separate part

To be honest I had tube boards once and never again....under certain temps they become to icy. Billet boards like CR racing or something similar way better IMO.

Actually I was impressed with the stock boards ....they don’t look it but seemed to stay clean. But yeah I hear you...good to open them up.
