2016 Pro RMK 800, 155"

Running in Michigan. Deep snow, all off trail, tree riding. Bone stock clutching per Polaris book. Gold Spring 70 Gram weights.

Brand new clutch. 3 rides on it. Sled is over revving 8400-8500 RPM. New motor mounts this fall. Secondary in great shape no issues.

old clutch was wearing in the same fashion. thought it need to a rebuild. was marginally more expensive just to buy new clutch so bought new one. Starting to wear the exact same way on clutch cover

More Info:

Wear I am referring to is on the clutch cover. Appears as though spring is rubbing on spring cup. Small metal shavings all over inside of clutch.

Thats how they all are, the spring flexes under constant compression expansion and will wear on the spider nut and the cover. Some sleds seem to shake a little more and do it worse but I bet if you popped the panel on any polaris sled you'd see similar wear.
