Okay, so the question of "which belt" to use or which alternative belt seems to up quite often, so I thought I would put some numbers together for a quick reference. If I'm off on a number......Please let me know!!

16 and up Axys 600 / 800
Polaris 3211183 New belt 3211216
Gates carbon 45C4553
Gates kevlar 45G4553

2019 Axys 850
Polaris 3211216
Gates carbon 45C4553
Gates kevlar 45G4553

11 to 15 Pro 600 / 800
Polaris 3211115
Gates carbon 44C4553
Gates kevlar 44G4553
Dayco XTX5020.

And a spare belt that seems to come up is the Arctic Cat 0627-48

Again, if one isn't right, let me know and I'll make the correction.

The 11-15 Pros are 44C belts. They can also run the Dayco XTX5020. Loved that belt. I wish Dayco would make one for the Axys...

So maybe we should turn this thread into a rating for each belt that the O.P. posted?

Myself I found the Original AXYS belt good. Also the Gates carbon belt.
Both were hard and had long life. The AXYS belt would pull cords first.

The Daycos worked well on the Pro-Ride yet when they let go they completely exploded without warning

The Cat 048 belt was soft and a little different length but worked good on both Pro-Ride and AXYS. They did not explode either but did wear faster. Good price.

I much rather have a belt pull cords instead of exploding.

I ran the Gates carbon on my 16 with real good results
I will be curios to see how it works on the 850, hard to beat the price

Stock with limited use - The Polaris belt that comes with the sled is fine until it wears out. Gates Carbon as a replacement/spare.

Turbo/Mod/Hard Usage - Throw the cordy Polaris belts in a corner of the garage and go Gates carbon for primary and backup.

The Kevlar belt won’t get you very far. In all actuality they should not offer it for the AXYS or PRO.
No joke, I think i got an average of 12 miles out of the kevlar ones on my turbo axys. lol.

The gates carbons work good and seem to provide more consistent performance throught their life vs the OEM belts.

Bringing this thread up getting some miles on my 850 and don't like the 216 belt that came on it. I have the belt deflection set go ride for awhile and get the belt hot and it will sit and squeal. If the belt is not hot it dont. Has anybody ran the 183 800 belt on the 850? Think I'm going to give it a try today

Some of the Jackets have the warranty and return address printed on the inside, if not you can download it from the Gates site.

I know that the answer to this will vary, but how many miles are you guys seeing before failure?

Does the assault still come with the chain?

Your opinion of which is better?

I have a TKI belt drive on my T3, and have no complaints, but honestly can't say it's an actual improvement.

the I do in this thread thus far is discussing the clutch drive belt, as far as I know there is still no aftermarket option for the quick drive belt without changing some pullies.

I actually just lost some cogs on my QD belt this last ride on my ‘13. Belt is still together, and rode fine the rest of the day lily that, ~1900 miles on that one. I’ll still save it as a spare.
