As I sat here last night really thinking about the whole Linex thing, that is EXACTLY what was coming to mind. How the heck would the technician SPRAY the undercarriage of the trailer??
Two Batteries is a MUST, 100% Agree.
And GOOD HIGH QUALITY DEEP CYCLE batteries as well !!!
One of the trailers they built for us a few years back DID include a FireExtinguisher! But one of the sleds caught on it and ripped it right off the wall. So positioning IS important.

I dunno...
#1, a sloped floor like that means the sleds will be sliding towards the middle and "Could" make it harder to maneuver around inside the trailer.
#2, almost certain to develop a valley of ice when it freezes solid.
#3, would even a tiny slope impact the "walkability" of the trailer floor?
Honestly, I think this idea is way out of the box, it might be freaking brilliant if it worked out, but it would take some engineering to relocate all the metal sub structure to support the floor and require that all the floor boards be recut/resized.
I wonder how much slope it would have to have to actually make a difference in drainage???????

I’ve never used a trails west with this design but I have used a trailer with a sloped rear dove tail, all the water in the back drained to the rear door and froze, had to chip it out to close the door properly.

An insulated floor helps a lot with this.

Very little, water will run on a very small slope. The slope used would dictate how flat of a parking spot you would need to find each night.

Yep. But since we’re spending Christopher’s money let’s throw a hydraulic jack on each corner with a bubble level in between.
They have heavy rubber flaps attached to the door and floor that keep snow and ice/ water out of the pivot point.
(Sled bumps right over them ) 1/2”-1” tall when the ramp is down.
Drain is 6” away from the pivot.
Probably 4” rise total in the center of a 24’ trailer. Not noticeable when walking on the floor.

Well you asked so here is how I would build the trailer.

- 5 benches to give everyone their own spot to sit while hanging in the trailer.
- I would add a small fold down table top (maybe 24"x24") next to all the benches that would have 4 flush mounted USB charging ports just above the table surface. Basically a smaller version of the 4' workbench you had in trailer #3

- I would add an awning over the side door (powered if possible).
- Outdoor speakers are a must.
- Generator hook up to use a Honda 2000.
The last big change I would make is to flip the trailer layout side to side. So the man door is on the driver side of the trailer and the front ramp door is on the passenger side. We have done our last two trailers this way and I far preferred that layout.
And I would give the trailer white and black colors inside and out like this:
Then I would run the wheels off of it as these trailers are so nicely loaded as part of the base plans you show everything else would work perfect.

Nice add ons. Is that a timer right above the inverter? I’ve always thought it’d be nice to set up the furnace to kick on about 30 minutes before planned eta back to the trailer.
That way when you roll in 5 hours later than your original “planned eta” you have no propane and no battery left lol.
