A couple weeks ago I had a chance to look at OFT's
Big Nutz Axle kit for OEM Rails at the Salt Lake City SnowShow.

This morning I placed an order for that kit with the 7 inch wheels and two 8" wheels for the drop brackets as well.
What the heck, I want this sled to look GOOOOOD this winter!

Should arrive toward the end of this week and then the install will begin!

I just did mine a week ago and just got done putting anti stab kit on, all ready to go back in!

Questions.
What size is your track?

Why did you stay with the 3 wheel flavor and not go to the 2 wheel conversion?

Did you add the wheels to skid, or were they already there and you converted them to the aluminum. I have been really thinking of adding a set of wheels to mine as my Hyfax was TRASHED last season, but the 162 SE doesn't come with any wheels on the skid.

Actually they do but the dealer pulls them off when they put the scratchers on.

Has ANYONE else gone for the 2 wheel conversion on their Nytro, rather than the standard 3 ?

I am running the 2 wheel kit and rail ext. Works and looks great 1100 miles sofar with the 180 mc express.

The reason I went with a 3 wheel kit was I have boost and many people recomend to have more than 2 when running boost, right or wrong I dont know just what I did as preventative.

Hopefully when I get home from the Snow Show tonight there will be a box waiting for me from OFT Racing!

But i came across a 9" ear Wheel / Axle set from CE Components for the Nytro..

9 inch wheels would be awesome..

Probably won't be long before OFT comes out with one of these themselves :face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-win

I have to admit, now I have Big Nutz Envy.
Those 9 inch wheels are SWEET.
Maybe there will be an upgrade for next summer!!

New wheels and axle arrived today.
But came with no instuctions.
Been fighting this new axle for half an hour now.

For the life of me I can't figure out HOW to get it back in the frame with the wheels on it.

Thinking of opening the rail and gaining some space that way to slide the axle in.

Split the rails apart and the axle drops right in with no trouble at all.

I think our drawing takes this for granted. We will update it to include loosening the rear cross-bolts to gain the room needed to get the axle in. Always feel free to give a call instead of getting frustrated

now to get the 2 large wheels off the upper axle.
They feel like they have been pressed on and don't want to come off at all.

Just use a good heavy rubber hammer put one of your bolts all the way in and hit the end it will knock one off and then you can take the shaft out and knock the other one off they are on there snug but not to bad..
