2010-2011 M8 which lightweight can

Picking up my new M8 this weekend, I'm putting a new can on it to save some weight, I wanted something reasonably quiet so I don't pi$$ off the neighbors when I'm loading it on the deck in the early morning, my dealer say's put a mbrp can on it, how are they for noise.

I know Brant put a Bikeman performance can from a M1000 on his 010 M8.

mbrp and jaws are 2 of the loudest, slp is quiet but not the lightest, not sure about the rest

Going to try one of Bikeman's powderlight cans. Had and HPS on my Dragon and really really really liked it, might put one on the M8 if I don't like the sound of the Bikeman one.

if its loud oh well i want it to work some cans hurt and at 250-350 each its hard to decide....blue bear did u get ur le yet

I had one on my 07 m8 and really liked it. Im going to put one on my 2010 too. Great sound.

2010 cans

going to be purchasing a 2010 m8 sp 162. I guess the first thing i want to do is get rid of the suitcase it has. Does anyone have a sound clip on some cans. I been looking at hps and super Q. What about jaws and mbrp?
On my 07 m8 i has a speedwerx but am looking at something else this year. Looking for something that sounds good and has a good tone. Nothing to extremely loud.

For the money and awesome sound, I say put on a skinz super Q. I had one on my M8 and loved it. The super Q is as light as they get to. By the way the slp can is nice also for those who want a nice sound without a lot of noise. It is a little heavier than some cans but I have never seen one bog on an M8 like stated above.

Super Q's are really nice cans. Good fit and finish, easy install, sound good, and are among the lightest out there. I had one on my 09 crossfire 800 until i put on my slp pipe kit and it worked good.

I put on the ceramic Super Q last year and I love it! Super light and very nice quality.

i love the sound of my MBRP on my m1000, it's not loud at all. maybe too loud for some, but not nearly as loud as some i've heard. like the jaws. And mbrp is probably the lightest of all

The only one I could find advertising a silencer for a '10 M8 was Speedwerx, $250 with 10 lb reduction.

what about the bikeman powderlite anyone use it besides before mentioned my cat guy told me when i picked up my 2010 le that the p/n on the can is the same as last year but i thought all that was part of the redesign with the new H.O.

Thing cans are awesome, very expensive though look for a used one or have one made but cost as much as most pipes. However they are set up for your sled at the elevation you ride and do not loose power.

09 m8 w/ Ultra Q can---design may have changed this year, but an awesome can if still available. Not obnoxious, no power loss, imo
