08 xp. Boggs and dies after i replaced throttle cable.

Like I stated bogs after replacing throttle cable. RPM's at idle are 2500, then slowly settles down to 1800. when I took it for a ride, it would bog and fall on his face almost immediately. Choke seemed to help. could it be a throttle position sensor problem?or do I maybe have an air leak, causing it to be lean? Gauge lights have not come on.

Manual states to recalibrate the TPS after throttle cable replacement.

do I need to take it to the dealer, or is that something I can do?

It could be just a plugged pilot jet. You can take them out & clean them yourself.

You sure your main fuel line isn't pinched slightly?

if it is throwing a engine code ...a series of beeps after starting then I would lean toward the TPs switch needed to be reset , and yes you have to take it to a dealer and have it plugged into the budds system to do this. I would have this done regardless of weather its the issue or not, it doesnt take much to throw it off.
