Shut Down Message!

My buddies sled was run in strong all day. Low oil light came on. Filled up with oil. A few minutes later the dash starts going crazy and says SHUT DOWN. Sled continued to run fine on the 5 mile trail back to the truck. Sled was not running hot, coolant was fine, and all seemed to be running fine. 2011 PTEC 154.

Any ideas? Thanks

you're lucky... it ALMOST exploded....

It just shuts down when it idles & gets hot. Pretty cool feature.

Mine does it every time I think I'm going to yank someone out quick & it turns into a 10 min dig-dug game.

It didn't shut off. It ran just fine but the dash said SHUT OFF or SHUT DOWN.
