Our SPEED SHOP INC big bore kit cranks out the power! Utilizing our Durability Kit style taller pistons and our billet head. The kit is available for low altitude and mountain riding with our Mountain Series billet head kit. We bore out your stock cylinders, port them, replate the nicasil, and modify the exhaust valves for clearance. The kit includes our durability kit style taller pistons, cylinder spacer, bolts, base gaskets, billet head cover and one set of domes. We recommend the use of our Stainless Pipe or our Pipe Mod for best results. And a power commander is required for fuel management. This kit makes 25-30 more horsepower than the stock. It has a ton of grunty torque and is a blast to drive.
We have 4 seasons on this kit now, and have customers with nearly 4000 miles on them and still going. They are very reliable and a lot of fun!
Crankcase machining is required to make clearance because of the larger diameter piston. Just send us your cylinder, exhaust valves, and upper crankcase half. Also send the pipe for the big bore pipe mod, or get our Stainless steel pipe.
Pipe mod is $250 for high elevation, and $300 for low elevation version.
