Polaris 850 Sidekick owners, CHECK IT OUT!!

If Boondocker started you off with the 50/50 map, there are updates AVAILABLE!!!

You don't need to know how to tune your programmer, you just download an update!

If you know you’re going to want higher boost or maybe you’ve got a 3’ dump of fresh snow. Well, just load the tune, and you’re ready for the day (some tunes, when released, will have requirements: intercooler, fuel, clutching)
You don’t need any special tools, or an expensive cable, just a standard 9v battery and the components that came with your kit.
To get your Polaris 850 update, simply visit: http://downloads.boondockers.com and download the instructions. It’s VERY important that you follow the instructions for updating, step by step.

Install the drivers
Install the update
Verify the update
Go have fun!

There is a THIRD update to the 50/50 tune.


The HIGH BOOST tune is now available. BEWARE, there are very specific requirements for this one.
Intercooler is REQUIRED. (If you have the intercooler, you have an odd-shaped rectangular charge tube. If you don't have the intercooler, your charge tube is nice and round.)
Correct cluching is REQUIRED.
100 octane is REQUIRED.. Don't just top off your tank. Drain it and make sure ALL fuel is no less than 100 octane.

They said it's just a couple weeks away.

For those using the 50/50 (96 octane) setup, the newest 50/50 update was sent out on Jan 3.
Look for version 1.03 in the downloads.

Which tune? They are offering two right now.
High boost (100 octane) and mid-boost (50/50 fuel at 96 octane)
