Exactly, I would've taken it apart to find out, but it's under a warranty so didn't want to mess with it. Looks to me like the bolt backed out but the snap ring is also hanging out too.
This can happen on the Apex also and when it breaks on a Apex the bottom gear falls off the driveshaft. Been there, done that. Wish I would have spent a few minutes to roll it on its side and take the cover off to see it was a simple fix. Its was NOT FUN towing out an apex from the back country with fresh powder down. Eric
