Help! Please take a moment and call Representative Denny Rehberg’s office in Billings on Monday, January 25 at 1-888-232-2626 or his Washington DC office at 1-202-225-3211. Tell whoever answers, that you want the meeting between Senator Tester and Denny Rehberg to discuss their findings on the Beaverhead Deer Lodge National Forest to be held in Butte, Montana not Missoula. Missoula is where Tester has strong pro wilderness support.

Butte is surrounded by the BHDL Forest, is large enough to accommodate such a meeting and has a commercial airport. The Beaverhead Deer Lodge Forest (over 3 million acres) is vastly larger than the proposed wilderness in Seely Lake or the Three Rivers areas in the Kootenai National Forest. Tester’s office says it is more convenient to have it in Missoula but we have far more to lose and he has strong support for wilderness in Missoula. While you are on the phone please tell them you do not want anymore wilderness in Montana but especially in the West Pioneers. Remember you have just lost 76,775 acres in the East Pioneers.

Thank You for taking two minutes to try to keep all the West Pioneers open to snowmobiling. Tester’s Bill would place over 25,000 acres into wilderness including Stine Mountain, Kelly Cabin, Lost Horse, Grouse Lake, Lambrecht Creek & Bobcat Lakes in the West Pioneers.

Is it to late to make that call, would hate to see any more of the Beaver head go to the greenies. We ride in the twin lakes area most every yr. We have friends and family that live in lolo area. wish these people would realize what they do to the economy, by shuting us out!!
Will do what I can to help!

Dear Jim,

After 22 public meetings held by Representative Denny Rehberg in Montana, Denny has posted the comments he received from Montana citizens at the following web link.

Comments http://rehberg.house.gov/

Representative Rehberg has invited Senator Tester to meet at an open meeting in Montana. Denny believes the back door meetings should stop and the public should be involved in the discussions of Senator Tester's wilderness legislation.

Butte Silverbow Chief Executive officer, Paul Babb, has sent an invitation to both Senator Tester and Representative Rehberg to meet in Butte. The Butte Civic Center has been offered to accommodate the large amount of people interested in this important issue.

Representative Rehberg has expressed his desire to attend such a meeting but Senator Tester continues to submit editorials in an attempt to sell the idea of more wilderness to the people of Montana and politicize the issue rather than listening to Montanans.

Contact one of Senator Tester's offices at the following numbers to urge him to accept the invitation to attend a public meeting with Representative Rehberg.

Don't know how it turned out either, but because tester is involved I can tell you that you are nowhere near important or smart enough to be listened to!

tester sucks, don't give him another chance next time around
