Any hints or help on this process would be helpfull, we're going from a 136 to a 151. We have a basic idea of the process, but if anybody could help walk us through it we would be forever grateful!!

some parts I used on a 136 to 151 on a 98 670 x was 5.5 inch rail extention, the front arm on the skid used was from c-7 that is about 2 inches longer, skid that was on the f chassis from about 93 thru 96, also the rear wheels from that skid as well being they are alittle bigger in diameter for less resistence in track tension. and extend tunnel atleast 8 inches

List of steps/procedure: Remove four bolts holding in skid, also remove top idler wheels. Remove secondary clutch (don't lose shims, spacers ect.), unbolt 3 bolts holding driveshaft bearing cap. Split chaincase, loosen chain, remove chain, remove lower gear, remove snap ring holding in bearing (it's a huge snap ring and a pain to remove with cheap pliers!). Wrestle shaft out. Put in new track and put back together. Enjoy cold beer.
