Does anybody know if the belts are put on at the factory or installed at the sled as part of the setup? While removing my belt to wash in case of oil ect I noticed it was installed backwards. Anybody with a new sled may want to give it a quick look.

Belts are not installed at the factory, they are zip tied to the sled in the crate and installed by the dealer during setup.

Belt

Confirmed: Belt is not installed at the factory. And the clutch sheaves are supposed to be thoroughly cleaned in the PDI, however this may only be a "suggestion or theory" as many machines go into service with the remnants of a cosmolene like substance on the sheaves.

Dealer SHOULD remove the belt to clean clutches and belt.
There really is no "backwards", just run it in one direction.
Installing so you can read the writing is standard but it really doesn't matter.

Winter Brew. So the arrows are just for consistency if you should remove for some reason and not for literal direction? Hadn't heard that.
