We are headed to Albany to ride the Snowy's from February 26- March 4 and then to Alpine from March 5 - 11. What's a 'general' report of the riding conditions ? I've been following the avy reports for the last few weeks. This is our 3rd trip to the Snowy's and first trip to Alpine...Thanks

For Alpine, check the report provided by Rockin' M Ranch, probably about 5 down from this thread...

Avy conditions are really bad this year and are expected to get worse. There was another death yesterday, and as the weather warms things are going to get a lot worse. I think we are averaging an avy fatality every ten days. I knew the man who passed yesterday and he was extremely skilled and prepared rider.
