99 600 Summit choke cable adjustment???

I'm putting a new choke cable on my old ZX and want to make sure i get it properly adjusted. Does anyone have a spec on this? I've searched quite a while for this info and have come up empty handed. It has the round slide carbs.

I always try to make sure with the choke off there is 20 to 30 thou of free play in the choke cable so that it doesn't accidentally pull the choke open. Probably an exact spec for this.
