03 800HO Motor Upgrade What Options

Was thinking about doing a 840 kit for my 03 800 HO summit. Can anyone tell me if its worth the money to upgrade? Can I just buy a head as I have SPI dual ring pistons ready to go in ? What other options are there? I'm Running a 03 800 HO with 05 stock reeds,polaris servies IV 159 track. Any info would be great as want to get it done soon.

Pretty sure to do a 840 you have to have the complete kit, not just a head. If I was you I would send those pistons back and go with a RKT drop in kit which is pistons and a head and it will really wake that thing up!! JMO

zx 03 Highmark Extreme with stock 159. I jetted down 2 sizes and dropped the needles 1 spot. I went with the Dyno port can and Team clutch and 6 inch fly riser. just popped on slp powder pros this year. Love the sled.

with your motor..I can doo a 150 hp kit (porting, head mod, 2 ring pistons)...add an RKT head for more power/cooling...or go to the 840 and get everything and a solid 165 hp ...BJ

Who makes the 840 kit? And what would be better, rk 827 with porting and ll there work or the 840 kit? Rk is saying 172hp with the bb and porting.
