Ive got an M1k going under the knife this summer and comin out a different machine.

Ive got the 153'' track and am not a fan of the stock track.

my thoughts were

challenger extreme 156-15-2.5''

power clawer 153-15-2.25/2.5''
if you can get it in a 2.5''

them are pretty much the only two ive looked into. lwt me know if im missing anything

OR should one get some rail extensions and go longer?????

Go 162

I would go 162 2.5 Extreme or the new powder claw 162. The length does matter and you really notice it when you point them up, especially on big power. If you bump the power on your 1000 and leave the 153 a good 162 800 will be right there with you or higher on a soft day. It takes a ton of power (turbo)to make up for less track when the snow is deep.

You will be dissapointed if you don't track up to match the motor.
