when you pop it apart the visual on the rollers and ramps and the pivot point on the arms is obvious ,
but the best way to chec the spring tower cap bshiong is to remove the spring and then reassemble the cap to the moveabl half .
then set it back on the center stem and see how much it rocks from side to side .
if worn enough the rocking motin will be 1/4 ich totaltravel.
