Ok i did a team conversation kit and i want to know if there's away to align the secondary without buying the tool i dont want to spend $50 bucks for the tool to use it once

hang the back of your sled in the air so the track is iff the ground, slide secondary onto jackshaft, do not install retainer bolt, install belt, start sled, ease into the throttle until cluttches engage, the belt will pull the clutch into proper alignment, ease off the throttle, dont use the break, kill the sled you should now be able to measure how many shims (washer) need to go between the bearing and the clutch.

You can still use the 3/8" straight bar method from the Doo manual using the same X-Y-Z measurements, then allow for a little float to either side.

How much float do i allow?

did you buy the float pin or the solid mount? If you bought the float pin you just run it in until its tight and let the clutch "float"
Team Tied secondary?
I left about .10" float when I did mine. Half on either side of the alignment spec.

mine was the tss 04 (pre Tied) i have never used the tied, sorry if any miss info
