i have a couple questions if someone can help me, i have a 92 EXT 550 LC, that recently seized up one piston. i also have a later 80's El Tigre 530 LC motor with bad crank seals, so my question is can i pull the el tigre 530 top end off and put it on the 550 ext bottom end? both motors are carbureted. thanks for the help

No, they are completely different engines.

bolt spaccing and demensions are completely the same. wat is diffrest about them

The old 530 is a piston port with a case reed valve on the bottom side of the cylinder. the 550 is a piston port only. Don't know off the top of my head about bore, stroke piston pin diameter and so on but they will not just bolt on and work.

X2 ^^ Just the 580 can interchange but even that has different rod pins with the 550. Zr 700 top may work but I believe thats got a far bigger block but I could be wrong.

The 530 is kinda its own motor, just like the 650/700 was. But they all look like piston port motors but have the little reed tucked away.
