01 700 extremely dim lghts occasionaly

The headlights on My 01 700 RMK go really dimm once in a while. Actually all the lights do then all the sudden they come back up to normal just like flipping a switch. doesn't seem to be a loose wire situation as it will do this idling in the garage too. I checked the ground and all the wiring nothing seems to be amiss. Ignition is not affected when this happens just not sure what's going on.

i had the same thing happen to my 2000 700 RMK i found out that it was the voltage regulator on mine

I would go with a voltage regulator, having the same issue with a 600 and put a voltage regulator on it

sounds good guys. I talked with another guy at work today and he said same thing. 3out of 3 works for me. Thanks! i'll let ya know what i find.

Buy the Arctic Cat one instead of Polaris. Supposed to be better quality and a lot cheaper.
