Has anyone looked at their Diamond S can lately?

We have 3 of them, they all had issues with the springs wearing through the mounting holes. Mine had something let loose on the inside and was rattling around. This was after one season. Disappointing that this happens for what they cost. Contacted Scott, replied right away and fixed them no questions asked so he does back up his work, hoping no further issues.

I was a little worried about the cracking on these, but after seeing Scott step up and fix all the issues I ordered one.
Now I'm wondering, like someone else mentioned, how to keep snow from coming in around the neck?

Rivet a thin piece of plastic that is hole sawed out that you covered completely with aluminum tape. I am just running as is. Little snow never bothered me.

Heard the rubber gasket off a rev chassis drops in there.
