PSI twin pipes and Jetting?

I have a 94 ZR700 with PSI twin pipes, I have had it for three years and never even checked what jets were in the carbs. ( my bad ). Was up in Utah at over 9000 feet and almost 50 deg. So I checked what the chart said I needed and put 290s in. The sled ran great. After getting home I checked what I took out with my reeding glasses and found a 340 and a 270 was what i took out. Does this make any sense? Do I have to tune each carb separately?

You do need to tune them seperately. That is what I have found. Now my baseline won't help you at all since I run a BB and bigger carbs, however, I do know that staggered jetting was fairly common.

Best bet is to take your time and check piston wash and plug color multiple times to get your baseline. Good luck.
