06 mcx apex boost controller question

wondering if i take off the pcv boost controller and put in a MBC. will the mcx efi still function the same?

i had some problems today with boost only coming up to 8lbs. when it should be at 16lbs.

Doubt it's your controler... did you check all your boost lines? You might have moved something over the summer or in preseason stuff and popped one off. Mine did that last year and it took a while but I found it.

It's TCV (Turbo Control Valve)
What happens sometimes to them is they stick open and when they do they make way too much boost
It's possible that it's stuck completely closed or wiring problems that wont let the ECU open the valve
Like extreme one said you could have a boost leak or exhaust leak
Did the boost come and go or was it consistantly low

consistantly low ill check the boost lines and do a leak test in the monrning. today was the first time on the snow with this one. i would like to use the tcv other than a mbc though
