Where to mount airbox sensor on mod airbox

So I just put a mod airbox on my M and I need to know where to mount the airbox sensor. Should I try and locate it as close to the stock location or will anywhere work?

What airbox are you talking about? Is this a homemade one? Most aftermarket companies have the holes pre drilled for a the sensor

It is an airbox from a 600 mod

You drill three holes in the new airbox right where they were in the old one. Cut a small slit in the fabric there for the wire and plug to go through. Should snap right in if you use the right size drill bits. Looks clean. Although if you are putting it on an m8 be careful. Read my thread on mine blowing up. Not sure if it is the box or not. But be careful.
