Hey guys, can any help me out here. I had my rear shock snap in half (see pics). This was my first ride after replacing a rail that was damaged, does everything look installed correctly? Maybe the shock was damaged the same time as the rail and this next ride finished it off?

Looks like all was put together correctly, if you can get some once the snow has melted off might be able to see more.

Really looks like shock body and shock rod plate decided to mate together on the down stroke. Possibly a bent rod on the shock itself or on the shock rods caused it?

Were those rods bent like that before the shock broke? They are supposed to be straight, but there is no mention of them being bent anywhere.

That rod was bent at the same time when the shock failed. I have replaced the rod and shock but now the top stroke of the shock is slightly rubbing by the torsion springs. See pics
