Would "Bel-Ray 'Gear Saver' Hypoid Gear Oil SAE 80W-90" tranny lube be ok to use as a chaincase lube? That's what I have available and it'd be nice if it'll do the job ok... Thanks!
That' s some good lube, I use it in the tranny's of my Kawasaki triples. I think it would work well. Its odd that its called an 80-90 wt., because its has the consistency (viscosity) of about 10W-30 motor oil.
