Polaris 600 CFI Short block needs rebuild

As the title says this is a short block out of my 07 600 CFI-4 IQ. Its the crank, rods, case halves with oil pump and water pump cover. The pump is missing the side cover where the cable mounts since I had to use it on my new engine. The engine failed a mag side rod bearing. The inside of the case appears a little scratched from the rod but I think it would still work fine. The PTO crank snout has a ground spot on it from the previous owner removing a damaged clutch.

$200 + shipping OBO

Thanks, Dan

Interested. Are the tabs where the pulse coils mount flush with the case or does it stick out about 3/8 from the case. Can't quite tell from the pics.

Hey I replied to the PM. Sorry for some reason I don't get forum thread notifications. Yes one protrudes from the case.

Location is Central, IL

Thanks, Dan

Ok. I'll wait for pics and have to double check tomorrow that it's the same as my motor. If it is the same and the case is good and not cracked I'll take it.

Sounds good. I'm not a big fan of "good" as a description as it varies person to person. The case appears to be undamaged other than the spot inside where the rod looks like it rubbed on the case when the bearing failed.

Tblair is second in line.

Thanks, Dan
