I honestly think they are waiting for Ford.


Pretty typical of GM.


My guess is 2017 will be a new motor, also rumor of 8-speed.

Then 2018 will be new body.

Ford is now in Delivery.
Nothing more for GM to wait on

Last time Ford released new HP numbers, GM came out with Higher numbers and Ford countered with a reflash of the PC and even higher than GM HP.
Kinda funny little game they play.

I'll take one in Denali form! I just need to find sales dude to work with.

Seriously, these trucks are getting to the point where they have more power than transportation trucks. I dig the hood scoop. I like the idea of a couple more gears. Hopefully GM will match the other guys with the little things like keyless ignition, rear heated seats, fuel door urea fill and a few others. I'm even digging the Denali blue.

Heard the 8 speed tranny is actually a joint deal or shared technology if you will that Ford and GM are doing. Ford will have it in some F150's for 17.

That's the 10 speed trans. Haven't heard anything about the 8.

I'd think the new tranny, 8-speed will be another Allison. Shocker if GM doesn't keep them.

I test drove a 2016 on Sunday here in BC listed for $90,845 and it is on sale for $76581 until September 30th. The 2017 will probably be close to 100 grand here in Canada. Getting a little out of control $$$$$! Super nice truck though!

Yeah right! I wish!

90G Canadian is about 67G USD so it's all relative!

Now, talk about the housing market here in BC and that's a whole other story!
The "average" price of a house in Vancouver is 1.51 million and they are almost tear towns! I don't know how my 9 year old son will ever afford to get in the market :face-icon-small-dis
