The North American based automaker Ford is planning to introduce the 2015 F-150 to the next month’s NAIAS, in Detroit.
The 2015 Ford F-150 will make its public debut next year, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The announcement hasn’t been made officially by the carmaker but it’s part of an actual report, which has been posted by
Bloomberg. According to our source, the brand new Ford F-150 will receive some aluminum body panels which will help the model shed approximately 340 kg (750 lb-s) from its total weight.
The new Ford F-150 is believed to be inspired by the Atlas Concept and rumors are saying that this will be powered by a brand new
EcoBoost 2.7 liter engine, which should be mated to a
10-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid version of the new truck is also expected to make its way onto the market, eventually, which should become the vehicle of choice. Sadly we have no more details on the brand new 2015 Ford F-150 so we will have to wait for the 2014 Detroit Motor Show to officially open its gates next month in order to find out more about this vehicle, and not only.
