IMHO, the top setting is too high for technical riding, and I'm 6'2". I typically ride with it 2 notches down from the top and feel quite comfortable to man-handle the machine.

Riser

Getting off the point of my post, Arctic Cat makes different fixed risers for the Pro Climb. Do you have to add cable/brace line extensions to go higher than stock height of 5.5 inches.

on my 17 the stock riser is 4.5". I went 1" taller to 5.5" no problem, could probably easily fit 6.5 with minor cable zip tie adjustments.
Im 6' also and the 5.5 riser is perfect, tilted forward. I ride forward.

how did you get a 5.5? I was looking and stock is 4.5 and the next up from cat is 6.5.
the 4 was to low for me and the 6.5 is just a bit tall so i would love a 5.5.
the 6 will fit no problem I too am 6'
Ill trade a 6.5 for a 5.5 each pay shipping.

riser

Got a new 16 ProClimb with factory 5.5 riser way to short. How high can I go without cable extensions? Need to add 2 inch higher cat riser.
Tanks for the help!

The highest one AC makes is 8.5 inch and does not require cable extensions on Mountain models. Page 141 in the 2018 accessories catalog.
