Got high output grip heaters to fix the non-working ski-doo heaters (and I broke the bars) but no wiring instructions.

New heaters have black, red and white wires. I have not looked yet but can't imagine sled has same colors.

Anyone done these that can give me an idea how it should be wired before I get in to it tonight?

Mine is blue to black white to orange and red to orange. The two oranges are high and low. I had to switch the two oranes around once to get the high and low matched up....

Thanks.

I looked it over and assumed I would have to tie the red and white to orange and put black to black.

Only one way to find out for sure.

black is the common or ground, orange is hi, orange with the purple strpe is low

They only use two wires, black and orange.

Hot Grips Wiring......

Go to Hot Grips Website....they have a link to wire a 2 wire heater on skidoo 3 wire system...Good information there....Gary

I wired it up and revved the engine over 2k but show no voltage to the heaters.
