Bought some cases thinking they would fit my 05 800Ho as the 04 mxz 800 had the same part number as the cases i need. Turns out that i think the guy didn't ship me 04 cases. Now i need help identifying these cases he did send me.

Cases are the same until here on the pto side of case

This is my old case from the 05 800ho, on pto side

And this is the one that i was sent that is supposed to be 04

Is there anyway to look up casting #'s or any info that is on the case to prove it is an 03 case? Or just not an 04 case? If i can prove it's not an 04 case then i will be able to return it otherwise im SOL!.

Good pictures would really help if you guys have any or know where to view any. Thanks

Even tho they look different, do the tops look the same like where the jug is put on? if so couldnt you use it anyways and just get the seals that fit the one you bought? just a thought.

Notice lack of seal retainer holes cast on left case, that is from pre 04, from what they told me on doo talk

Im hoping to make him take them back so i can get a full refund since i was told tht $385 later i would have 04 cases

If you are anywhere close to Evanston, Wy I know a guy that can make that case work for you.
