Just got it done, bought a track this summer at hay days 121"x1.75"x14" it was like new for 35 bucks only thing is i didn't realize it was the race track so it was narrow. It will fit any wedge skid, but the top rollers are to wide and the track will fall between, but three easy steps and it was good to go for only 20 bucks more!
1) take the shaft out lathe it in so the bogie wheels can move in farther
2) Cut the tube it fits in to match
3) Find springs that have less coils (pro x work) i went to a local used parts guy and he had just what i needed for 20 bucks, good day
Those tracks really hook up, i recommend for any one with a 440.
will post pics if any one wants or more detail.
