What's the stock clutch setup for an 05 900 with a 151" track? Primary spring color, weights etc.. I have finished rebuilding the sled now, just to do the clutches, but what's in there now there's no color left.. Can't complain the sled went 8,800 km's on the first motor and clutches, not bad!!!

This isn't exactly stock to the tee, but IMO is the ideal setup. Take it for what it is..

Primary;
-black/green spring
-balanced and shimmed for 3211115 drive belt
-weights depend on your altitude

Secondary;
-Red/pink or black/white spring
-use a derlin washer under spring cup
-proper belt deflection
-helix anywhere from58-66 (first number), 44 or 46 (second number), 46 (last number)
---example of helix is 66.46.46er (electronic reverse)

I would not run the stock helix by any means, its trash and will cause high belt temps

Hope that helps.

I always space the gearing cause they always ask for clutching info, lol. bu yeh gearing is huge on RPM as well.

I was gonna build a 151 sled, and go with the usual (and BEST IMO) gearing of 19/42. (use auto tranny fluid or Polaris gear oil) as well.

your MAX rpms should be around 7800 +/- 100
