2007 IQ LX hard to start in extreme cold

My 07 600 HO IQ LX CFI will not turn over with electric start on
cold days (below 10degF) If I hold the start key and pull the recoil
start it will start first try and no problem after that. Above 10degF
and the machine starts and runs fine.

Any help?

Sounds like either a weak starter or weak battery, a sled is meant to be used in sub 0 temps, so it should go. I would check to see if the battery is holding a full charge first, then go from there.
