12 volt diagnostic power

How can I apply 12 volt power to perform electrical tests on my 2010 Rev XP 800R?
I am trying to locate an RER problem--no reverse.

I have the manual test instructions but not the factory test harness. It takes an energized system without the engine running.

the accesory port under the dash you can add power to. its a 3 pin with a dummy plug on it. back feed power in there works.

I will give it a try, and thank you. Maybe I can get through the RER diagnostic on my own.
By the book RER diagnostic sequence is strange-- start with compression (the most expensive possiblility) then go to the wiring/connections and last, the switch.
