I don't think theres any chance of easily getting 5 long tracks in there. Mine is 24' and its rated for 4 short tracks with a bit of manuevering, but we pretty much only ever put 3 sleds + an ATV in it if you wanna get them in and out easy.

I have hauled 5 in my 7x29' legend trailer on three separate occasions. There was always one sled that was a crossover model and it's a tight mf'er and it never fails someone gets a little paint rubbed off. Without some racking to lift atleast one of the sleds off of the floor, I don't think you'll get those 5 sleds in there

Stealth, ezhauler and neo all make 7.5x29 as a custom option. Rc trailer makes a 7x31 with either tandem 5200 or triple 3500 axles. that is the same trailers i am deciding on, i know 5 fit in a 7x31 but not sure how much room would be left in the 7.5x29

i just learned the same about an hour ago, im thinkn eather 7.5x29 or 7x31, leaning to the 7x31 more we have 2 diesels and 2 new chevy 6.2 that we take turn in pulling just thinkin the 7 would be easyer to pull for the non diesels. one of my buddies has a 7x29 and he said the fit 5 163s but tight a hell, he ho and humed about the idea of the 174's fittin

I am thinking I will end up with the 7x31 triple 3500. Undecided on brand yet but liked the looks of the neo and ezhauler better than the stealth

the bad part about a tripple is another set af bearings another set of tires to wear out and keep air in and they scrub so bad when turned sharp

You may want to look into building a frame in the trailer that you can lift the back of a few of the sleds onto and pull the other ones underneath, similar to how they ship cars in containers.

Something sort of like this.

I've contemplated something like that for my 29'er. You would only need to lift the first and third sled front ends and it would give you a ton of room. I do agree with the OP that if he doesn't have a trailer yet, it's best to just buy a big enough one in the first place

Triples pull nice. I don't like 7 wide trailers. No room once you put in sleds. If you have access to two diesels, just give those guys a little more to pull and get an 8.5 car trailer v-nose. I have never talked to some one who wanted their trailer to be smaller, but not so much the other way around. Better yet would be gooseneck, but that's a whole other ball game.

Gooseneck is absolutely the ultimate way to go. After i got into a couple nasty whips on the interstate last year i swore i was gonna get a gooseneck but i just can't get myself to write the check.

I have a continental snow king 27' 8.5' and we put 5 long tracks in it on a regular basis (4 163's and a 174"). It's tight but they fit!
