You like that sled deck huh it works But its not quite as hot as you.Sweetie you are like a 350HP 400lb sled looking at an untouched meadow with 3feet of fresh with blue skys and sunshine.

Is the float the same part number as the 2009 M series?

Do you own a 2009? Or are you wanting to change your 2007? You kinda lost me on that one. Why would you want to change the 09?

I want to upgrade my 2007 to the 2009 rear suspension. I wonder if the crossfire kit you are talking about has the same float as the 2009 M series, or if it is crossfire specific valving? If it is the same, then the kit is a deal, if not I will have to order the M parts.

According to Scott at Cat It's the same. He does not know why it only list's the CF but he said it is the same.

I think this conversion will work fine on the 2006 skids, but you will need to change the geometry of the front arm with a relocation kit from Holz. That is really the only thing that changed for 07 besides some different shock valving.

i have that bracket on my sled already. so it should work for my 06 then?

That is what Scott said was different but he also said something about the mounting points being different. So i am not sure.

hmmm. well i will look for a skid out at haydays in a few weeks, if i can not find one i will be ordering one of the float conversion kits and making it work. Michelle, can i order other arctic cat parts from you as well?

I wish I would have waited a year. I paid over $850 doing the conversion on my 07 last year.

I think if you order 08 or 09 rails you can put it in older M's?? I changed my rails to 08's. Not sure if I had to on an 07??

This will fit on '07 rails, you will just have extra mounting holes that you won't use.

It looks like everything would mount fine on an 05-06, but you would definitely need the front arm relocation bracket from Holz or others. The rear arm mounting locations have not changed, but the front arm definitely changed.
