Which should I go for? Has anyone used the blow hole set up? Mntk raised the price $100 this year but left the ski-doo price the same. Doesnt make sense to me but whatever. Should I go with vents or the blow hole?

Looks like most vent kits are up there now. Sheesh just some fabric and plastic. I was going to get the extreme vents but i think for the price the blow hole is the ticket and works when other vents would be packed full of pow.
Both. use the vents to get cold air in, and the blow hole to suck the hot air out. Blow hole works extremely well in high temp situations where you arent moving fast. Tight trees in heavy wet snow. If you can move a little faster vents will flush cold air in and out, but often times its not possible to move faster.
Best set up is a couple of 2 cool air vents to bring air in, and blow hole to move hot air out. I used this set up last year with great success.

I'm using the Wildchild gauge lifter with the fan powered vent built in... clean and simple... Not at home... dont have pics... will post up later.

WJL... Not sure that that fan is waterproof???
Just posted that for a "how it was done". Figured you could/would post the fan that is WP and maybe the one that does NOT need a battery?
