a bit of history behind HPS

they had the real deal pipe for every year REV/RT.....then they completly dropped the ball on the 08 XP and actually lost HP, no thanks, HPS can suck it!!!!

How's everybody doing with their cans? Any dyno charts out at all on any of them yet? Why is it that the HPS is so much more? And why the dual cans?

mbrp on 2010 m8. runs better than any stock or hps. 9000' with 68g weights pulled 8550 up the hill. put 71.5g weights (flatland setup) in and was at 8250 uphill. cat recommends 63g at 9000'. Its totally stock except the can. The thing rips any stocker and hps we were with!! Sounds good too!! can't beat it especially for the price!!!

Ordered an HPS today. See how it works. He said he has about 175 silencers out for the new M8 and hasn't had a complaint except for a guy in Alaska that said it didn't fit right. Kinda of excited. Was gonna do the SLP pipe setup but didn't want to run a controller.

I just got a skinz super Q. Rode one day in revy with the stocker first. Stocker Pulled proper RPM. 8200-8300. Often over reved. Skinz super Q definetly added some RPM. Wide open was 8400-8450 on the tack for sure. Might not have pulled as hard due to the over rev. Going to run the same weights next week in Nelson. If it still over rev's I'll get something heavier. Love the sled.

HPS Can 10 M8

Hey I am the guy in Alaska with one of the first ones he got out. I just had to fuss with the mounting stud and bracket a bit. I noticed the later ones have a different bracket maybe they fit better. I like the can 17 pounds is 17 pounds. Got about 6 rides on it works real good sound good, no bogs.

ditto...I got an early one and fooled around a bit with fitment...overall though very happy with the can...and the sound is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than some of the other garbage I've heard.

First ride on my HPS can and I love it! The fit was a little off but with a few minor adjustments it's fine. Can't stand loud cans. Can has a nice tone with a little bark on the top. Certainly did not see any power loss, gained some maybe. As an added bonus my Hot Pot fits perfectly on lower chamber.
