2010 m8 running supper rich... what can cause this?
it only is getting 7000 rpm and im sure its not clutching. and the motor only has 400km on it... it ran supper good till it just seemed to loose all response
could this be reeds could it be a stator, plugs, tps,
I just pulled the power valves and checked cable ajustment... they are fine i put the sled on a stand and ran it... it seems just like a older sled with the choke stuck on or worse

Did you check your oil to fuel ratio? My sled was running rich and turned my oil down so it was running 40:1

7000 rpm sounds like limp mode do you have any codes showing on the gauge?

borrow a ecu from another one and see,my m1000 was only hitting 7000 rpm and surging when wot to 7000 rpm if i held it there, was a combo of loose ground and i think the ecu was damaged because of it,no codes replaced the ecu and its 100%

so after lots off looking around and checking every wire I fouund a melted plug the goes into the ecu.... just a minnor melt bettween the 3 and 4th pin in the top row of the plug.... thes wires go into the stator.
so I change stators ( I have a spair) and it still gets hot. I beleave its a ecu.
