I am looking for info likes and dislikes on track length. I am about to snowcheck a 2012 Pro RMK 800. I'm just now sure on what track length to order 155 or 163. I rented a Pro with the 155 skid and loved it. (came from a 144 switchback 600 ) I ride in the Island Park areas picking through the trees, sidehills boondocking the back country. Does the 163 change the handling of the sled and its flickability?

Looking for everyone's 2 cents.

Thanks in advance for your 2 cents.:help:

Can't comment on the Pro RMK, but on my M8 I would say %90 of the time I wish I had a 144" instead of a 162" on it ...

*shrug*

I guess I just don't get enough pow days to warrant the longer track ...

I keep thinking about this too. 90% of the time im sure id like a 153. BUT , there are those times when the guys i ride with drop into something deep and nasty steep and I calmly ask "so... is there a different way out other than that vertical goat fook we just about died going down on"? They usually say " nope .... gotta go back up". Thats when i want every inch of track I can buy , and hp too. Im lacking in skill to the point I need to buy every advantage I can afford. Fear rather than fun will likely be my deciding factor.
