it's summer, i'm bored and want to buy a can for my snow check sks. but have a few questions after reading through the posts.

What is the weight for the GGB trail can?

Weight for GGB mountain can?

Weight for Diamond S quiet can?

I am leaning for the GGB, but if it's not much lighter than stock the Diamond S maybe the way to go.

thanks

On my '14 Pro, the Diamond S Ti Quiet is 3lbs 4oz

I have three of the standard Diamond S cans, they weigh:

The one I bought used (likely last years production run) 1404 Grams (3#'s 1.525 OZ)

The two brand new ones are 1452 Grams and 1452 Grams (3#'s 3.218 OZ and 3#'s 3.253 OZ)

Here is the 11-12 prormk GGB mountain can. 4lbs 1oz or so. Now they are still developing the rmk/sks axys can so not sure where it will land yet weight wise. The trail can typically weighs slightly more than mountain. I will have to weigh one.

I just wonder why all you guys have digital scales laying around ;)

Diamond S is on order for me. Hurt the wallet but I hope it holds up and doesn't rust and look like crap after a couple seasons of use.

Has anyone heard from HPS yet? I loved it on my 12 - a little louder than stock but I didn't find it 'rippy', with a good balance between cost and weight savings.

I e-mailed Scott last month and he said they were still working on it with no firm ETA at that time.

Hopefully they come up with something soon! I checked their site a few months ago and again last weekend and thought it was strange to see no axys offerings.

The Diamond S will turn blue after heated up a few times but titanium doesn't rust. It should last longer than the sled does.
