I just bought an 07 155 600 rmk ho carb with a aerocharger turbo on it. The kicker is that it needs a new crank.
I was thinking that I might just buy a complete used motor, drop it in and sell the top end of the current motor to offset cost and time.

Will an 06 carb ho motor work, or is it different? Any other years for this motor?
thanks

I dont know if the motors are different, but I would recommend just doing the crank. The carb motor is very very reliable, mine has 7k on it now. I rebuilt it at 5900, and still running strong~!

The few differences I know (06-07) is that the 07 uses different carbs, head is slightly different and location of the upper radiator hose where it plugs into the head. Other than that, I don't think you'd run into any real issues. The carb'd 6 was used in the 08 Shifts.

Thanks for the info. The 06 is interchangeable with the 07.
After going through the sled today I found quite a few thing that were missing, including the stator and recoil.
The sled is in pristine condition with an ez-ryde rear suspension, carbon fiber front a=arms with walker evan reservoir shocks.
I might just sell it as a roller, and sell the turbo separate.
